Maxximum was officialy created in June 1993 in Nashville, TN by a man who had a deep passion for clean, clear and powerful sound. He put together a sound system using the best parts money could buy. He (a man known as DJ French E) kept improving his system and tuning it to the point that the sound waves coming out of the speakers made you dream.

DJ French E used Gauss drivers for their power handling and their distinctive aural accuracy. As far as amplifiers go, Carver Amps were used because of their ability to amplify the input signal without distortion no matter how hard they were pushed. This did not happen with other brands. The electronic effects were kept to the minimum to prevent the increase in background noise and distorsion.

During the following four years, his crew was very professional and devoted. French E would like to thank the following crew members and other people heavily involved for their hard work : Gill, Kenneth, Bruce, Cruel-Dave, Hippy, Chip (Eyegasm), Tim (Evolution), Forrest, and Chad. Cruel-Dave and Tim are the two people who did the most shows. We did 402 shows (mostly raves) from 93 'til 97.

Maxximum has also built 10 night clubs. Here are some examples : Vortex (Nashville, TN), 176 Underground (Nashville, TN), Connections (Nashville, TN), Connections (Louisville, KY). A few sound and light designs were done in strip clubs.
